Don't you think that the people who got banned exaggerate a bit on what they lost? Some might be telling the truth, but I suspect some are just basking in their final moment of glory. Since there's no way of knowing whether they are telling the truth or not, why not claim to have the -insert rarest unded mini- and the q7 -insert most amazing weapon-.

That was the best update ever. I like the part of banning the main together with the botting accounts. A few guilds in my previous alliance got dissolved since leaders and officers were gone....

They are trolls having their last laugh. I was listening to GuildCast and they were talking about the bans and how some henchmen tonics and mini vizus were lost in the bans and she was upset about it. If I were a banned troll, or just a troll, I would have been laughing so much at her reaction over a few made up lies about what was lost.

this is kinda weird in a way that Anet have made a deal out of banning so it's like humiliation being "reaped" by dhuum. XD the forums reactions are funny though, shouldn'thave cheated in the first place silly pplz :O!

Bans aren't meant to completely rid a game of cheaters, as that would be impossible although it is what we would like. It's more of a way to keep them from swelling in numbers to much and to keep their numbers down as low as possible.

Need an example of such a case where hackers roam free? Silkroad online.

Still looking back at this, i don't get why anyone would feel for the people that have got banned, and no matter how 'in depth' the complaining is, there still is NO way of making what they did, right.

Anyway, loving the quotes so far, good riddence to the filth. (even though, of course, there are still some survivors out there...)

I know a couple people who managed to get their mains unbanned, even though their respective bans were entirely legit.

Believe it was some kind of "it wasn't me i got hacked and they botted" claim.
